A great cover letter is made of four key pieces:
- Simplicity
- Creativity
- Personalization
- Information
And it doesn’t have to look like the cover letter you’re thinking of.
A cover letter doesn’t necessarily have to be a page-long document. It can be a few sentences or quick paragraphs.
The key is to tie together the job you’re applying for and your unique skills/experience. You want to show the employer, with a few seconds of them reading your cover statement, that you have a unique advantage for the role. And you can only achieve this by personalizing the cover statement.
