Responsibilities

Chemical engineering interns will support their team with the following under direct supervision:

  • Work with the Research & Development team on running simulations and implementing tests
  • Prepare reports by researching, analyzing and summarizing information
  • Enter data in product databases
  • Conduct equipment tests, materials, and processes under direct supervision of technical, support, and engineering staff
  • Review special instructions of projects and technical drawings to understand test/product/service specifications, objectives, procedures, and equipment
  • Record technical data including test procedures and graphical and numerical data
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing industry/trade publications, networking with professionals, and attending educational workshops

Requirements

  • Eligible majors: Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, etc.
  • A strong desire to learn and keep up to date with technology changes and innovation
  • Good communication skills to be able to clearly explain ideas, design, and instruction
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail and contentiousness is crucial
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced mathematical skills
  • Confidence to work under pressure and deliver projects on quick turnarounds
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
